Dr Murdo Black, chief scientist at Alcolizer commented “The clinical study confirmed our in-house results –that we have an exceptionally fast and sensitive platform…[with the ability to be] modified to detect a range of infectious agents, proteins and metabolites at concentrations previously only possible using expensive clinic instruments.”
Unlike other existing antigen and PCR tests, the Virulizer is non-invasive, faster, cheaper and able to detect COVID-19 in under ten minutes. Findings confirmed that the Virulizer device was at least 1000x more sensitive than commercially available antigen test kits currently on the market.
Alcolizer Technology’s General Manager Roger Hunt commented “We have ordered Omicron but the virus isn’t arriving for another four or five days. But we’re relatively confident that we will detect that as well.”
Alcolizer is committed to saving lives and opening up borders. The sensitivity of our technology will be transformational in so many environments that require a rapid result.
The Virulizer is predicted to be in the commercial market by mid 2022.
